150 more years and mission accomplished. And the Left has the wicked, demonic nerve to call the GOP and the Tea Party racist? THIS is the spirit of the Democratic Party, from its inception until …

Apostle Claver: BHO Comes to Texas. Laughs at Texas. Walks Out With $2 Million.

Submitted by on May 12, 2011 – 11:50 am7 Comments

It’s an absolute outrage what took place on this past Tuesday in El Paso. President Obama took a campaign trip to the city to go after the Hispanic vote, make a play for the state of Texas, and had additional plans to bring a monetary treasure out of what is believed to be a “red” state.

I don’t have to go over the comments that he made within eye and ear shot of the border with Mexico. That has been fully covered by both the mainstream media and the commentators. What’s more important were his motives and how the leadership of Texas reacted. What’s more important is why the President could possibly be so bold to pull off what he did. It’s really telling about the strategy of the Dems and the weakening GOP in the Lone Star State.

Obama and his administration have declared all out war on the state of Texas. And, yet, he can come into the state and just rub it into the faces of every Republican elected official and party leader.

The media made a slight mention that Gov. Rick Perry wasn’t there to meet the President at the airport when he arrived in El Paso. What would be the point in the Governor showing up? What would he do? Just feebly hand him another “complaint” letter that the President would quickly pass to an underling without even reading it? Not exactly a show of strength in the past by the Texas Governor. Additionally, Mr. Perry is not showing any strength in the present, either. It’s been a sad excuse for an assault on the powers of Washington coming from the temporary Governor’s mansion, and rather embarrassing.

Why would the Governor have to meet the President in El Paso when BHO flies into the Governor’s backyard of Austin for a fundraiser? And what a fundraiser! He pulls out $2,000,000 from the People’s Republic of Austin – the state capital.

Does this not tell us a lot of what the Democrats think about the GOP leadership of the state and the Dems brashness to go wherever they desire and do whatever they please?

The Obama administration has continually assaulted the state and people of Texas. The stance of our leadership should be very clear – take the fight to Washington. Instead of being reactive to the continual political shots and slights that Texas has to endure, our Republican elected officials should be leading the charge against the Washington Left and declaring “de facto” independence, if you will.

The level of defiance that the Governor, the Lt. Governor, the Speaker of the House, the Attorney General, and every GOP elected official of Texas should be so blatant that the Left would be served notice that their politics, policies,  nor presence is welcomed in the state. Obama should be uncomfortable landing Air Force One anywhere within this sovereign state, and should certainly come to the conclusion that holding a fundraiser, especially in the state capital, would be a complete waste of time and energy.

But the reality is contrary to the dream. Weak GOP leadership is more concerned about squashing the conservative grassroots movement within the state than they are about crushing those that stand for a strong centralized government.

On the events of this past Tuesday, May 10, 2011, I’ll have much more to say in the coming days.

I now make the call that you will hear me make time and time again in the days and years to come: We don’t need to be looking for mere conservatives to occupy the seats of public service in the state of Texas. We need to be searching and praying for patriotic revolutionaries that stand for life, liberty, and prosperity!

Patriotic revolutionaries will have the guts to put down the insurrection of centralized government in both Washington and Austin that continually attacks the cherished principles of life, liberty, and prosperity.

STAMPEDE!

  • APOSTLE; I agree, and for sometime I have wondered where OUR US SENATORS are on Specific Issues.

What I SEE is TWO “LAME DUCK” Senators and a FEW active CONGRESSMEN ! (NOT MANY)

IT IS A GOOD THING THAT TEXAS HAS NOT LEFT THE UNION,,BECAUSE “WE THE PEOPLE” WOULD HAVE OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS STANDING IN THE WAY OF US TRYING TO GO DEFEND OUR POSITION ! !

SENATOR “JOHN C” Should Worry MORE about this Country that IF HE HAS HIS WHITE HAIR PROPERLY “PLASTERED DOWN” AND IN PLACE ! !

What WE NEED IS SOME REAL REPRESENTATIVES – -SOMEWHERE !

Robert Chatham (A TIRED OLD MAN) ! !

I agree. You have that right. We need true patriots who are ready to fight it out instead of joining the new world order of nuts. We are in deep and have a big mountain to climb to get out. But we are growing and holding strong.

    Claver

I totally get “Weak GOP leadership is more concerned about squashing the conservative grassroots movement within the state than they are about crushing those that stand for a strong centralized government.”

But what I am missing is what Ricky, Davy, and Joey could have done to make the President feel uncomfortable about coming to Texas?

This article put a somewhat different perspective on OBH’s visit. I was angry that he had the “gall” to flat-out lie about the UNSECURE border.

I was on the Empower Texans call Tues night w/Gov Perry & Michael Quinn Sullivan. Gov Perry told us the difference between the TRUTH about the border and the LIES that OBH flaunted.

W/o discussion with anyone, I excused Gov Perry for not meeting OBH, etc due to the way OBH snubbed him last time he was in our great state. Now I’m thinking Gov Perry probably should have been by OHB’s side right there in El Paso. Surely he couldn’t have pulled it off the way he did had Gov Perry been there. Got a lot of things going thru my mind since reading this post!

Thanks A. Claver! You “stretch” my thinking!

  • Ruth says:

Right on Claver: Same feeling I had at one of your boot camps. The Republican’s are really weak when it comes to patriotic revolutionaries that stand for life, liberty, and prosperity!

That is why I prefer to take minorities to the Tea Party or 912 meetings where life, liberty and prosperity are the main topic. The Republican’s celebrate Reagan Conservatives with talk but their actions speak louder than words.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Patte Bahl says:

Sounds like more of the same …politicians caring about getting elelcted and staying elected…not serving those who elected them and getiing plenty of perks while they’re in office…we need elected officials who say what they mean and once elected mean what they say!!!

  • marymac says:

I can not even imagine you calling yourself a christian. the things that come out of your mouth are not christian like. You obviously have a lot of self hatred. I feel sorry for those who follow you.
