150 more years and mission accomplished. And the Left has the wicked, demonic nerve to call the GOP and the Tea Party racist? THIS is the spirit of the Democratic Party, from its inception until …

Apostle Claver: Happy Emancipation Proclamation 150th Anniversary!

Submitted by on January 1, 2013 – 1:53 pmOne Comment

Abraham Lincoln #1Happy New Year, to you!  Thank you for your support in 2012.  It was an amazing year of action and learning for us.

Today, January 1, 2013, has a special meaning for Republicans, conservatives, and the American people.  Today marks the Sesquicentennial of the Emancipation Proclamation.  The Proclamation was an executive order issued by Abraham Lincoln under his authority as commander-and-chief.

Let us not forget that President Lincoln was a founder of the Republican Party and the first president elected under its seal.

Not So Angry Black ManAnd, let us not forget – as is so wonderfully documented in the current movie “Lincoln” – that is was the same Republican president, and a Republican-led Congress that moved to improve the Constitution with the 13th Amendment.

What I witnessed this very morning left me with head in my hands for a few moments.  As the United States Congress convened, and 1-minute general speeches commenced, the first representative to mention the Emancipation Proclamation was G.K. Butterfield, a DEMOCRAT, from North Carolina’s 1st District.  This is a prime exhibit of how the Democratic Party – the party that fought with every ounce of its being against the dismantling of American slavery – has deviously stolen the legacy of the Republican Party and buried the true history of the two major political parties of the nation.

The Democrats are clepto-crats. They even have no shame in essentially re-writing history in order to maintain a political chokehold on a precious voting block.

Butterfield presented a full-throated celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. It was an unmistakable attempt to play upon the perception in the communities of color that it was Democrats that have ALWAYS been on the side of African-Americans.  It’s ALWAYS been the Republicans that have opposed the equality of the minorities and the downtrodden since their founding.

It is high time that conservatives, and Republicans that care about such things, regain control of our legacy and actively pursue reclaiming our rightful title as liberators and emancipators.

And, if the GOP party elites refuse to be aggressive about eliminating the diversity crisis that has inflated under their care, then RagingElephants.org will continue to lead in filling this void.

Thank you for your continued support.  Let’s make 2013 truly a year that becomes one step closer to unfettered life, liberty, and prosperity.

I disagree with the notion that people are trying to rewrite histpry by portraying the Democrats as somehow supporters of civil rights pre-1960′s. Anyone with an understanding of history knows Republicans were better on such matters right up until the passing of the Civil Rights Act. In 1964-65 the roles began to switch and Republicans took on the role of the chosen party of southern white males. I think the people who say Dr. King was a Republican and attempt to link the modern Republican Party to its civil rights roots are more guilty of rewriting history.
