Apostle Claver: Lessons for Conservatives From Cyprus

Submitted by on April 2, 2013 – 9:20 am5 Comments

ClaverThe whole Cyprus crisis has quieted down, somewhat.  Most of the foreign correspondents have retreated back to home base and the financial markets have shifted focus to other economic factors and world events.

Conservatives shouldn’t lose an extremely important message from the Cyprus crisis: The true mind of socialists being revealed to us, once again.

Like a disturbing number of other southern European countries, Cyprus is on the verge of being insolvent.  Its banking system is teetering on the brink of complete collapse.  The country needs a bailout. So, the potentates of the nation and northern Europeans came up with an ingenious solution to bring the country back from the brink.  Like Willie Sutton, they decided to rob the money deposited in the nation’s banks.  With little to none in the way of natural resources and manufacturing, Cyprus cultivated itself into a tax haven.  Thus, bank deposits exceed the national domestic output by multiples. Much of the capital being held in the Cypriot banks is the property of foreigners – primarily Russian oligarchs.

Labeled as a tax, the Cypriot government identified its first steps of financial healing to be confiscating huge chunks of the money deposited in the banks.  They have put bulking hindrances on depositors being able to access their capital, and the banks remained closed for days in an attempt to prevent a run on the banks.

The employees of the troubled banks face losing absolutely everything.  The government is toying with the idea of confiscating their pensions!  News reports recorded tears of protestors devastated at the possibility of having their life savings wiped away for the “good of the state”.

The situation is much more complicated than being described here and honestly would take pages more to fully and fairly describe.  But, the actions sent international markets reeling for a time.  If a national government – even one as tiny as Cyprus – has the mind to simply rob the banks, what will happen if larger nations, with huge economies, in greater trouble, employ the same idea (as was tipped by a few European economic ministers before the outcry of the elite forced them to retract their suggestions)?

The question was immediately posed here in the United States: Could it happen here, with the nation hurling toward certain economic doom, and the Federal Reserve out of its mind and certifiably insane?

The answer from the “experts” is that it couldn’t happen in America because of the “safe guards” in place through the governing structure of the Republic.  Perhaps not…

But, we discover the lesson for conservatives.  It’s the belief system of European, American, and global socialist.  They believe money – all of it – is theirs!  You have what little capital you have through their benevolence and permit.  And, at anytime that they deem it needed for the “good of the state”, they will confiscate it by their governing power and the point of a firearm. The state, and its ferocious appetite for capital and spending, outweighs the need of any individual, or the regard for whatever level of labor individuals have exerted to garner their individual capital.  It’s by permit of the government that you have the right to labor for sustenance and, god forbid, wealth. (Yes, I did not capitalize “god”. For their god is not the Christ.)

Truly conservative public servants should have the exact opposite psychology.  Their first recognition is that the money belongs to the individual person.  Their governing philosophy should reflect an absolute respect for individual capital possession and that it’s the government that needs permission from the electorate to possess a single red cent from the private domain!

Any elected officer without this fundamental governing philosophy firmly entrenched in their soul cannot call themselves a conservative.  Therefore, there are many that have placed their hand upon the Bible to take the oath of office that falsely claim the label conservative.  Many have infiltrated the Republican Party for political expedience and practice their craft freely in Austin and as a requirement to do so in Washington, Devil City.  As for Democrats they were born out of the spirit of theft.

Saints and patriots identify the thieves and remove them from office – whether they have an “R” behind their names, or a “D”.   Identify the thieves, I say to you! Identify the thieves and literally whip them from the houses of the people as Jesus whipped the robbers from His Father’s house, if we must!

    We Are Already Cyprus

When you consider how the Federal Reserve’s printing of money has devalued the American dollar; American savings accounts are suffering more than those in Cyprus.

The Libs in America just understand how to do it incrementally.

Incremental Tyranny also works when “withholding taxes” are applied to your income.

Then there are the “embedded taxes” that never end up on your receipt when you buy something Made In America where manufacturers are punished with a 35% Corporate Income Tax.
