150 more years and mission accomplished. And the Left has the wicked, demonic nerve to call the GOP and the Tea Party racist? THIS is the spirit of the Democratic Party, from its inception until …

It’s Like Selling a Big Mac

Submitted by on December 17, 2012 – 9:00 amNo Comment

Big MacYou can buy a McDonald’s Big Mac in Tucson, Toledo, Topeka, or Toulon, France and it will always taste the same.  But how they sell the Big Mac is quite different.  Although the company is All-American and pushing hamburgers and fries, you can bet the commercials in France are in French.  McDonald’s is very culturally sensitive because they want business from every community.

Anyone that sees a McDonald’s commercial can identify when they are targeting a specific demographic group.  You will see an entirely different portfolio of commercials on TV networks like Black Entertainment Television than you will on networks like the Outdoor Channel.

The commercials reflect the pleasure and identity points of the community.  Within the commercials the actors, the music, the lines are all purposefully targeted to appeal to the specific demographic that is being targeted.  When McDonald’s wants to sell Big Macs to the African American community, the actors are black, the music is hip-hop, the lines are rhythmic, and they may refer to the brand as Mickey D’s.

When it comes to the actions of: Republican Party leaders and elected officials, Tea Party activists, and concerned conservatives everywhere, it is as if they believe that all that must be done is scream “Constitution”, “Low Taxes” and “Liberty” at the top of our lungs and voters from every community will come sprinting to our ranks.  That approach and belief-system has not worked.

RagingElephants.org operates under the theory that our message of conservatism must be tailored to fit the demographic sectors that we must attract in order to win elections now, and certainly in the very near future.  Whether producing communications for electronic media, print media, outdoor media, or social media, our campaigns will employ the idea that imagery and message must be culturally astute.

If you would like to help make our communications ideas reality, please become a $10 or more per month donor to RagingElephants.org.  Our very unique work cannot be done without your financial contributions.

We thank you, in advance, for your generosity.
